Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Contains photographs of the following military units: 2nd Field Artillery; 11th Engineers; 33rd Infantry. General description of the collection: The Walter Jensen photograph collection deals exclusively with the Canal Zone, Panama and Fort Clayton during a three year period, 1934-1936. Featured are photos of review at Fort Clayton for President Franklin D. Roosevelt's visit to the Canal Zone in 1935. Also included are photos of the Department Field and Track meet in 1934, the 2nd Field Artillery on maneuvers / training, views of the buildings at Fort Clayton to include three interior views of the Post Exchange (PX), views of Panama City and other sites in the country, several views of the Panama Canal and ships going through or docked. It is a nice collection showing the activities of the U.S. Army in Panama between the World Wars.
